Off To Jurien Bay For A Holiday!

I am getting quite excited, we are in the middle of some nearly 8 weeks of school holidays and we had not planned to go away (oh shock!). Mind you, where we live we have the beach within 20 minutes of walking distance, we have a nice pool, and we have season passes to Adventure World (a great park with rides and lots of water to take the kids to), so it is not really necessary to take the family anywhere else! 🙂

But then a few weeks ago we decided we could actually go just for a few days up north of Perth, especially since we have been living here since 2004 and never gone further north than an hours drive to Lancelin (where the big sand dunes are)!

So we are off to Jurien Bay, a 2 1/2 hour drive north of Perth, as of tomorrow morning, together with friends! We have rented a house that sleeps 12 about 50 meters from the beach and 200m from the nearest pub (might be closer, actually!), so we will be well looked after!! 😉

I intend to take lots of photos, so hopefully I have a few things to show when I come back. The one thing I will be leaving at home is the computer!
