DIY Beachy Hair Spray
Beachy Hair Spray

I know this post hasn’t got much to do with Beach Decor (unless you consider who lives in a beach theme home a kind of “beach decor”, too 😉 ) but I found this recipe for “Beachy Hair” on Pinterest and thought I would share it with all of you beach and ocean lovers!

You know your hair looks kind of different when you have spent a day at the beach. It looks a little tangled but fresh, windswept and salty, but relaxed and cute. Well – I am sure you know what I mean! 😉 It also has this certain smell to it when you have been in the salty waves and had it dried in the sun by the wind…

Well, the best way to get beachy hair is to go to the beach – obviously! It will be the most fun, too!

But, sadly, many of us can’t go to the beach when we would like to 🙁

So here is the recipe to get your hair looking and smelling like you have spent the day lazing around in the sun and waves:

  • Mix 2 cups of warm water with a tablespoon of sea salt and a tablespoon of coconut oil in a spray bottle.
  • Spray it onto wet hair.
  • Section off hair in as many pieces as you like, then twist each section. Let it dry naturally (no hairdryer!) and shake it out.

And that’s it. Have Fun!
