Hi all,
you all know that I love the beach – I like to go there as often as I can. I also have 2 dogs which I take to the dog beach occasionally. One of them (my big boy Boomer) absolutely loves going into the water to swim and fetch his ball, the other one (my little girl Dash) is just the opposite – she usually sits on the towel like a princess and avoids getting her feet wet.
Of course, sometimes we can’t resist to take her into the water with us, something she absolutely despises! Every time we do that, she feels very sorry for herself after…

Aww he looks upset. I have a medium large size Australian Shephard Mut and he hates the water. I have a pool in my backyard when I first got him he wouldn’t even stand near the pool when were swimming, but then I caught him drinking out of it one time. He does not like water or getting washed.
About 5 years ago I was lifeguarding at the community pool club and I was closing down I’d put the tarp on, turned the lights off and was waiting to be picked up by my brother. He brought my dog Max. He was so excited to see me and running around but he thought the tarp was solid so he tried to walk over it. Once he realized it was water he went crazy running all over it trying to get off. I can’t imagine how frightened he was. It must of felt like the ground was sinking beneath him.

Veyr cute dog – I live in Bonita Springs Fl and there is a beach just for dogs that I take my hound to all the time, she absolutely loves it 🙂
It is great to take the dogs to the beach, very uplifting and a lot of fun!
